The actress recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. While reflecting on her previous relationships, Bosworth mentioned a few things. Even a decade after her separation with Orlando Bloom, the two remain friends.
What Happened At The Show?
During the show, a caller asked the Blue Crush star about the most important lesson she learned from the relationship. To this, Bosworth sportingly quipped, “Well, I married a director,” adding, “Sorry!”. Andy Cohen said, saying “actors dating actors” is tough, to which Bosworth said, “It’s no Bueno. It’s just, and it’s too much of the same thing.”
While speaking highly of her Ex, she quoted, “He’s so lovely, truly. I’m not mean.” The actress further added that there is “nothing bad at all” between the two.
Bosworth and Bloom dated in 2002 and split in 2005. The actress said she knew the Lord of the Rings star before he was famous. “I knew Orlando before he was famous at all. So we started dating way, way back in the day… and then it hit when we were together,” she recalled. “I believe when a person goes through something like that with someone in the past, it is liked you feel like that’s a real anchor in many ways because it was just crazy.”
“We would land at airports, and he would have girls lifting their shirts,” she added. “It was wild. I mean, if you are just two normal people hanging out, and all of a sudden it just blows up into something surreal, then you kind of look at the person you’re with as a rock in many ways. And I think we felt that way about each other through a crazy time.”
As of now, both are happy in their relationships. Bosworth married Michael Polish in 2013. Bloom married Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, and the couple has a son together, although Bloom separated from Miranda and is now engaged to Katy Perry.
