Things To Do Around Spring Hill Florida | Fence Installation of Spring Hill

May 7
Spring Hill Florida, located 50 miles north of Tampa, FL is a small community. We have much to offer the rest of the world, even though we are a small town. You can make my little town worth your time for a week!

As you travel up Florida's west coast route 19, you will be greeted with a stunning landscape of flowers. A sign welcomes you to Spring Hill. A dolphin fountain is located across the street. If you turn left, you can take a beautiful ride to Pine Island's tiny beach. I find the drive more enjoyable than the beach. Driving to the beach is a journey through marshlands that gives you the feeling of driving to Keys, or taking a scary road in horror films. If you feel thirsty, there is a biker bar where you can get a drink and a meal.

You'll be able to see large dinosaurs around Spring Hill if you choose to drive straight rather than turning as you climb Route 19. They are all there, but nobody seems to understand why. One dinosaur has an auto shop!

Continue north for approximately a mile, and you will reach Weeki Wachee State Park. This park is great for spending hours. A canoe can be rented from Weeki Wachee and you can take a cruise along the river. You should be careful as there might be gators looking for dinner. A Riverboat ride can be taken with a guide. You will learn about the history, fish and gators, as well as other wildlife you may encounter.

Visit the Mermaids after your riverboat ride to enjoy a mermaid show. You will be able to hear a story from a mermaid under water. For the mermaids who swim in an underground spring, the water temperature is always 72 degrees. As they gracefully glide through the water, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Mermaids.

This is Weeki Wachee’s full-day excursion. Buccaneer Bay, a water park created from the same underground spring, is available the next day. The park offers a variety of rides, or you can relax in the plastic circle while you ride along some of the outer banks. A picnic lunch can be enjoyed on the beach, or you can sunbathe under the umbrella. After a long day in this park, you will be exhausted so get enough sleep to sustain your week!

As you exit Weeki Wachee, State Rd 50 will be in Brooksville. To learn more about the history, you will need to cross the street to downtown. Some trees were used for lynching years ago. You will also find statues of dignitaries and stories about pirates that have invaded the region over the years. As you walk down Main Street, Rogers Christmas House will be on your right. It takes about half an hour for women. The husbands might want to stop by the car or find a bench. Rogers houses are filled with ornaments and Christmas decorations, each house displaying a different theme. Rogers will make you feel like you are in pure bliss when you visit.

For about 30 miles, you can continue on up US 19. You can go diving, or just swim if you are a diver. What's the deal? While you swim, manatees will be sharing your space with you. It's so cool! It's an incredible experience to swim with manatees.

After all this, you can take a rest at your home and relax by the pool. We'll take you down 19 to Hudson Beach where we will have dinner at the beach-side restaurant while you enjoy the sunset. Hudson Ice Cream is an iconic stop on the way home. Stop by at any moment to get new flavors, cones or sauces. By the time the ice cream is finished, you will feel full and ready for more.
