Peaky Blinders Season 6 updates! Check out its plot, cast (Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, etc), premiere date, and everything you want to know!

The cliffhanger at the end of the fifth season certainly opened our mouths in shock! We know that Tommy Shelby is an ultimate master of defeating and terminating the strategies of his opponents. But this time, though, he was really outplayed by someone he didn’t know. We know that Tommy has all the answers in his pockets. That’s why it was really shocking for the fans to watch him getting conquered by an unknown person. Or maybe that specific person was one of his own people?

All these questions are expected to get answered in the upcoming seasons of Peaky Blinders. Wait, did we say seasons? We think we did! Alright, let’s clear the fog of doubt. If you don’t know, then it’s our moral responsibility to inform you that writer Steven Knight is clearly not in the mood of bidding farewell to the show any time soon. He has already enlightened the fans that two more seasons are yet to be delivered. Season 6 and Season 7! This means we can totally foresee an aggregate of 12 episodes if the makers follow the regular 6-episode slot. The series is expected to end with the year of 1940 when first-ever Birmingham’s air raid siren took place.

Let’s hop onto this article to find out more about the razor blade gang of Birmingham boys! And of course, how can we forget the sixth season?

Peaky Blinders Season 6: What do we know so far?

The one thing which we have clearly comprehended in the last five seasons is that Tommy Shelby always looks to get more. His ambitions are neverending! His smart and cunning brain has taken him to new heights. But not without some serious repercussions, though. He has tackled several prominent adversaries in his past. From Major Chester Campbell to Oswald Mosley, we have a pretty big bloody list of his foes.

Speaking of Mosley, we know how he survived that game-changing assassination attempt. Fans have witnessed Tommy going head-to-head with many bad guys. But this time, he shook hands with the devil himself!

If you consider yourself a hardcore fan of the show, then you know it will be pretty stupid of us if we don’t mention Michael Gray. He proposed Tommy to restructure the whole company and also handed him a file mentioning all the details in it. However, the file ended up in the flames of a chimney—courtesy of our very own Tommy Shelby.

Do you remember Barney? Tommy’s old mate from the war and a well-trained sniper? Well, he was prepared to shoot Mosley, but somebody blew his brains out from the back. Plus, Abrams Gold was going to marry Polly. But he also got brutally stabbed by some unknown assassins.

We also watched Ben Younger getting blasted in his own car. Right outside, Tommy’s office! That horrendous bomb blast also took the life of a 10-year-old boy.

Peaky Blinders Season 6: What to expect from the upcoming season?

The fifth season was the most exciting and surprising season coming out from the arsenal of Peaky Blinders. There is no doubt about that! How will Tommy deal with all the shocking deaths? Additionally, he desperately wants to know who successfully beat him in his own game. Was it Michael? We know that he was quite interested in taking Tommy’s empire in his own hands.

What about Alfie Solomons? His relationship with Tommy is quite unique. He has betrayed him many times in the past. He could be the man Tommy is looking for.

What will happen to Polly? She handed her resignation letter to Tommy in the last season. Plus, she was on the verge of marrying Abrams. It will be very disheartening to see her getting broken down in the future installments. After all, she is one of the worst women ever to walk on the dirt and mud of Birmingham.

Additionally, we can’t put Oswald Mosley out of the frame! Did he know about Tommy’s plan? Or was he lucky receiving aid from an unknown person? But we surely know that he will be after Tommy’s life. A man like Mosley can never leave his enemies alone.

The love of Michael’s life, Gina, can prove herself to be a vital asset for him. We know how good she is with all her manipulative tactics and stuff.

Poor Arthur! We can’t imagine what he will go through in season six. We saw him constantly getting haunted by the memories of the war. Now Linda has left him too. Will he be able to maintain his sanity? Well, he has the whiskey, and Tokyo made snow drugs to keep himself well-balanced.

And for Tommy… What can we say about that, man? We don’t have to inform you how well he excelled in his career. But he also faced some serious consequences with his success. Like losing his beloved wife, Grace. It will be quite interesting and exhilarating to see him taking vengeance from his unknown rival in the future.

The makers also informed the diehard junkies of the show via Instagram that a newly renovated version of the Garrison Pub will be seen in the sixth season. It will be much darker than the previous design mixed with a pinch of the retro-looking golden theme.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Cast: Who will return?

We know that the last season ended with a huge cliffhanger. But come on, let’s be honest with ourselves! How can we watch the upcoming seasons without the involvement of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy)? It’s clearly impossible!

Helen McCrory (Polly Gray) is sure to return to the franchise alongside her on-screen son Michael aka Finn Cole. We also have to add Anya Taylor-Joy (Gina Gray) to the cast as well.

We can’t imagine anyone other than Paul Anderson to play the role of Tommy’s elder brother, Arthur Shelby. Sophie Rundle (Ada Thorne) will also be seen. The devil himself, Oswald Mosley, aka Sam Claflin, is sure to grace us with his presence on our television screens.

Other cast members including Ned Dennehy (Charlie Strong), Natasha O’Keeffe (Lizzie Stark), Charlotte Riley (May Carleton), Tom Hardy (Alfie Solomons), Brian Gleeson (Jimmy McCavern), and Andrew Koji (Brilliant Chang) are sure to come back in the upcoming installments.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date: When will it premiere?

The production work of the sixth season of Peaky Blinders has been stopped due to the ill-effects of the ongoing pandemic. We don’t have any word from the makers regarding the discharge date of season six. There is no way in hell that the BBC network will be able to premiere the upcoming season this year. If the situation improves, then we can watch it in 2021.

Stay tuned with us for more updates, folks!
