Unfortunately, Netflix confirmed in 2019 that the seventh season would be the last and concluding season of the series. As we said, it is one of the longest shows with a total of 91 episodes. Since everything has to come to an end, the show ended in good terms. However, if you are new to this show, you can surely binge-watch the seven seasons released.

This show, which ran for more than five years, has many recurring and main characters. Some even appear as guests in other seasons. However, we will mention the ones that were majorly seen in most of the episodes. It includes Taylor Schilling, Michael Harney, Danielle Brooks, Jason Biggs, Natasha Lyonne, Selenis Leyva, Taryn Manning, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Yael Stone, and many more.

The story is based on Piper Kerman’s life. It revolved around the story when she was put in the FCI Danbury prison for some money laundering crime. It shows the daily problems and all the things she dealt with in that low-security prison.
