‘Knightfall Season 3’ Release date, Plot, Cast- Tom Cullen, and everything else you must know


Knightfall is a 2017 historical-drama series which first premiered on History channel. It was later released in the United States and the next year, was renewed for season 2 by the same channel. With a 6.8 IMDb rating, Knightfall has received lukewarm response, yet it is a favourite of history lovers.


Set in 1307, Knightfall revolves around the rise and fall of the Knights Templar under the reign of France’s King Philip IV (considered notably dominating and controlling in the pages of history). The story revolves around the Templar leader Landry du Lauzon, a fictional character created for this series.

Although, this series is not the most entertaining, yet it is considered very informative and historical in nature. With its focus on warlike conditions, tyranny and dominance of rulers, this series has depicted the times of the Knights Templar wonderfully and accurately.

Although there has been no official confirmation from the makers, Knightfall is considered as one of the most-watched series of History channel and thus, people are awaiting the release of season 3 enthusiastically. Knightfall might not be one of the highest-rated TV shows, however, the factual knowledge it imparts and its seemingly accurate depiction of history makes it a must-watch show to fuel your general knowledge.
