‘Black Summer Season 2’: Release Date, Cast including Jamie King and Christine Lee, Plot And What’s More?

Black Summer is one of the fiction series that is based on a zombie apocalypse, directed by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams. The show is specially created for Netflix. The first season of the Black Summer premiered on April 11, 2019, with eight episodes. IMDB has rated the show with a 6.4 out of 10, and the show has received medium reviews. Black Summer, as of 2019, is one of the most-watched content in Netflix. The series is connected with another series of Z-Nation that is about the zombie apocalypse.

Release Date of Black Summer 2

Netflix has officially confirmed that the series will renew for a season 2. It also informed that the second season would comprise of eight seasons. But it has been almost one year, and there have no updates on the new upcoming series. Since Netflix has released a statement, we can expect season 3 out by the end of 2020 or by the year 2021. Another reason why the series may have been delayed is due to the global pandemic Coronavirus that has stopped several series and movies. As of now, there is no official trailer or teaser released for season 2.

The Cast of Season 2

As there is no official confirmation on the cast, we are hoping that most of the cast members that were in season 1 will be present in season 2. We have Rose(Jamie King), Julius James (Justin Chu Cary), as Ooh Sun Kyungsun(Christine Lee), William Velez( Sal Velez Jr.), Lance(Kelsey Flower).
The Plot
The story is based on the lives during a zombie apocalypse where Rose, who is a mother, is in search of her lost daughter Anna. She later crosses paths with other survivors, who together go on a journey to overcome the situation.
