Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Westworld is an American sci-fi TV series. This dystopian film is based on the 1973 movie “Westworld.” The series has received positive reviews from critics, and all have loved its writing, acting, and visual effects.

The story is set in a place called Westworld, a fictional amusement park with advanced technology that comprises of many android “hosts.” This amusement park was created for guests to fulfill their every desire, without causing them any harm. The hosts would interact with guests each day, and their memory would be wiped out daily.

The first season shows an update in the hosts that brings in them sentience. Attempts to correct this mistake ensue and the show leads on to season 2, where hosts massacre their human guests. Many pivotal characters are introduced, and the story focuses on the lives of these characters and the hosts.

Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores Abernathy, Thandie Newton as Maeve Millay, Jeffrey Wright as Bernard Lowe, James Marsden as Teddy Flood, Luke Hemsworth as Ashley Stubbs, Sidse Babett Knudsen as Theresa Cullen, Simon Quarterman as Lee Sizemore, Angela Sarafyan as Clementine Pennyfeather and more.

New cast members for season 4 have not yet been chosen. The show recently aired its 3rd season; thus, the planning and conceptualization phase would open doors for the selection of apt cast members for season 4.

On 22nd April, HBO announced that the 4th season would be on its way. Although the next season will be bigger and better, it is expected that its production and shoot will take up a lot of time. With the COVID pandemic right now, all production has already been halted. Thus, we do not expect season 4 to be out before 2022.
