Netflix’s web series, Iron Fist, based on the famous and popular Marvel Comics, has been brought to an abrupt end by the makers of the show after airing the second season of the show on October 12, 2018.

About the show
The show revolves around Danny Rand, who returns to New York City fifteen years later to claim his family and its prestigious legacy from Harold Meachum and his children, Ward Meachum and Joy Meachum.
With a threat looming over, Rand faces a dilemma between his family and his duties as The Iron Fist. However, he returns as the Iron Fist and takes over his duties as the savior of the city in Matt Murdock’s absence. He continues his duties until a new enemy enters the show to threaten his identity and becomes a threat to his loved ones.
Where did the last season end?
The second season comes to an end with Colleen returning as The Iron Fist to save the city. Rand leaves New York City in search of Orson Randall, the man from whom Davos acquired the Iron Fist corpse only to return with two stolen guns with which he can form Iron Fists.

When and why was the show canceled?
Despite Marvel wanting to continue the series, Netflix put an abrupt end to the same after the launch of its very first season. Though Disney+ had shown an interest to revive the series cannot be seen for at least two years on any other network as per the contract between Marvel and Netflix.
