Hulu Confirms ‘The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4’: Release Date, Plot, New Bonds and New Updates.



June is soon to be back with her journey against the tyranny of the political leaders in Hulu’s web series, The Handmaid’s Tale. Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, the series narrates an incredible tale of the brave and compassionate mother turned handmaid, June. 

Being one of its kind, the series has left a mark on its viewers and fans, making it one of the most-watched and most popular series. The popularity of the series reflects in its achievement of winning an Emmy for Outstanding Series, bringing Hulu its first award.

Story up to now(Spoiler Alert!!)

The third season begins with Emily’s narrow escape to Canada with June’s baby Nichole. Following which the series shows focuses on June’s activities in Gilead. June visits her older daughter, Hannah, back in Gilead, where she is threatened by her new stepmother. June gets herself captured by the Guardians in and is re-assigned to the Waterfords. 

At the Waterford’s, a guilt-stricken Serena tries committing suicide but is saved in time by June and Rita. With the never-ending tyranny in Gilead, June is back in chains for facilitating her daughter’s escape with Emily and is punished at Red Center. After being punished, June finds herself re-assigned to Commander Lawrence.

After some action-packed drama, June and the Waterfords get a videotape of Nichole with Luke in Canada demonstrating and condemning Gilead’s hostile assault on Chicago, thereby, forcing June to reveal her husband’s name.

Again the series gets back into action with the handmaids being assigned and re-assigned to various officials in Gilead leading to June being shot at the airport towards the end of the season.

The season ends with a half-dead June being taken by her fellow handmaids, chanting the verses of Acts 7:34.
