The series revolves around the lives of people living in the Southside of Chicago. A series of unfortunate events and mysterious murders wreak havoc in the neighborhood. Coincidentally, their lives get intertwined with one another’s, and they must find a way out.

The series revolves around the lives of those who live in the peril-filled streets of the Chicago neighborhood. Even though everyone is notably cautious and ready to take on the dangers of the streets, incidents occur, mysteries unravel, and certain decisions lead to life or death scenarios.


Jason Mitchell, who played the role of Brandon Johnson (season 1 and 2) has left the show in season 3. He had a pivotal role, and fans are intrigued to know how the storyline of this series will shift after Jason’s character Brandon is killed off. Reportedly, Jason Mitchell had to be removed from the cast of season 3 due to misconduct allegations.

Other cast members can be seen as Armando Riesco as Detective Cruz, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Ronnie, Jacob Latimore as Emmett, Sonja Sohn as Laverne, LaDonna Tittle as Ethel and more. Most of the cast will reprise their roles for season 3. Some new cast members are Cory Hardrict, who will be seen playing the role of Dante (a rapper), Joel Steingold as Martin St. John, and Salvador Chacon as Jada’s nurse.
