‘Beastars Season 2’: Release Date, Characters -Legoshi, Haru and all the other details you need to know!


Beastars is a unique Japanese anime series based on the manga illustrated by Paru Itagaki. The series has released one season so far. Season one premiered on October 8, 2018, till December 26, 2019, with 12 episodes in hand. The manga, upon which the series got created, got placed second in the list of top male-targeted manga for 2018 in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Book.

It received awards like Manga Taishō Award in March 2011. This award is the first time from Akita Shoten. Series has also won the new creator award at the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prizes. 

IMDB has rated this series with an 8 out of 10. The show is broadcasted on Netflix as well.

The Release Date of Beastars Season 2

Orange has officially confirmed the renewal of Season 2. They have mentioned that the season will be out by 2021, although no information on the date is known.

The stage play was to release in April 2020, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the time is unknown.

The Cast for Beastars Season 2

The main cast includes Legoshi voiced by Chikahiro Kobayash, Haru by Sayaka Senbongi, Louis by Yuki Ono. Juno by Atsumi Tanezaki, Gouhin by Akio Ōtsuka and Jack by Junya Enoki.


The story sets start with a world full of anthropomorphic, civilized animals. The animals are culture divided based on Carnivores and herbivores. A Wolf named Legoshi is a quiet student of Cherryton Academy. Over there, he lives in the dorm with his other carnivore friend Jack, a Labrador. Legoshi also supports the drama actors of the club that is lead by red deer name Louis.

Later, a murder had taken place. Due to this, a line existed between the herbivores and carnivores. During this time, Legos develops feelings for a rabbit named Haru.
