Infamous series’ fame, Sucker Punch Production, is set to make a grand return with Ghost of Tsushima. This upcoming action-adventure game has already managed to grab its position in many “most anticipated games of 2020” lists. Sony Interactive Entertainment will serve as the main publisher. Ghost of Tsushima is set during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in the 1270s. The game’s protagonist, Jin Sakai, is one of the last samurai ever. Mongolians want to conquer the Tsushima Island as it stands as an obstacle in their goal of conquering the mainland of Japan. The island suffered heavy losses in the first Mongol attack. Jin is among the few survivors of his samurai clan. Players will see Jin mastering a completely different fighting style named “The way of the Ghost” to defeat the evil Mongolians and free Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima’s Gameplay: What Can We Expect?
Ghost of Tsushima belongs to the action-adventure genre. A large open-world format will be introduced in this game. Players will be able to explore the atmosphere of Tsushima to a greater extent. It will feature no waypoints. It can be played only from a third-person perspective. Many items like a grappling hook, will help the players to reach the difficult areas of the game. Katana will serve as the main weapon. Stealth mode will be the most striking feature in this game for silently killing the enemies. The world of Tsushima Island showcases many fields, shrines, ancient forests, villages, mountains, and various landmarks.
Ghost of Tsushima’s score will be composed by Shigeru Umebayashi. A digital mini soundtrack with selected songs will be given to those who pre-ordered the game.
Release Date and Platforms
