Fast and Furious is all set to release its ninth installment in the franchise Fast and Furious 9. The movie is to be directed by Justin Lin, who previously directed Fast and Furious 6. The film is also the first movie that is not written by Chris Morgan. The current writer of the movie is Daniel Casey. The movie is one of the highest-grossing films ever.

The movie was all set to hit the screens on May 22, 2020. But due to the ongoing pandemic, the film pushed itself to release after a year that is on April 2, 2021. The official twitter handle for the upcoming movie announced this on March 12.

The Cast for Fast and Furious 9
The cast would have the same members as the previous installment. Vin Diesel will be back as Dominic Toretto. Michelle Rodriguez as Dom’s wife, Letty Ortiz. It also includes Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey. From the earlier movie Tokyo Drift, Lucas Black, Bow Wow, and Jason Tobin reprise their roles. The main addition to the film is John Cena as Jakob Toretto and Dom’s brother.
Cardi B portrays as a woman named Leysa. Finn Cole, Vinnie Bennett, Ozuna, and Francis Ngannou have also cast in the movie but with their roles undisclosed.
Plot of F9
In the film, we will be seeing Dom and his family face a new threat, and it is none other than Dom’s brother Jakob Toretto who is an assassin and has a personal grudge against Dom.
Why was Han dishonored?
Han Lue (Sung Kang), who died in Fast and Furious five, observed to be back in F9. Fans wanted Hann Lue back in the movie, and the hashtag #JusticeForHan went viral. Han states this return in the film feels like a family reunion.
