Chosen Ones is a novel written by the author with an adult audience as her focus.

In Chicago, a being from another world, called The Dark One, was annihilated by five teenagers. The rule of The Dark One caused widespread terror, horror, ruin, death, and massive destruction. Sloane, Matt, Ines, Albie, and Esther were teenagers brought together by a government agency where one of them was considered as The Chosen One, or as was prophesized long ago. With the efforts of these teenagers, The Dark One was defeated, peace and harmony returned to the people. Forward ten years later, one of these heroes dies, and to their horror, the rest of them realize that The Dark One was never truly defeated.

Sloan’s character was the most loved by readers, for she was one of those teenagers who could not move on from the horrors of what had happened a decade ago. Her character is considered as one of the most well-developed and interesting characters throughout the whole book.

Although the book is an engaging read for most, plenty of readers have found it to be slightly slow-paced.

Further, there are various elements of fantasy and hints of mystery embedded in Chosen Ones, making it an ideal read for fantasy enthusiasts.

The book was officially out on the 7th of April, 2020, and is now available for readers worldwide.
