Season 2: Release Date and Trailer

There is no official release date announced for the upcoming season. Netflix has also not released any official trailer. The only thing we have right now is a video put up by Netflix on July 9, 2019, where they announce the arrival of Season 2—the new season expected to release during May of 2020 as similar to the release of the previous season. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the production might have halted.

The cast for Season 2

The main cast would be returning for season 2 as well. It includes Kathryn Newton(Allie Pressman), Gideon Adlon(Becca), Sean Berdy(Sam), Natasha Liu Bordizzo(Helena). Jacques Colimon(Will), Olivia(DeJonge Elle), Alex Fitzalan, as Harry Kristine Froseth as Kelly. We might not have Cassandra(Rachel Keller) for the next season as she was shot and also Dewey (Seth Meriwether). But let’s wait and watch, as the show is full of twists and turns!

Plot

The series revolves around a group of teenagers who return early from a trip only to find out the rest of the people in the town are missing. They form their group and their own set of rules as they no longer have a connection to the outer world, that is, no internet nor through telephone.

What can we expect in Season 2?

Season 2 story might set start from the end of season 1. In this end, we see Becca giving birth to a child, but who is the father? Who killed Cassandra in episode 3? The teenagers also discover that they aren’t in the earth, but in a parallel universe as they have considered missing by their parents in the actual West Ham town. So, where are they? For the answers, let us wait for Season 2.
