Outlander star Sam Heughan took social media to reveal the harassment, death threats, and bullying he has been facing for six years through a post.
Sam Heughan, best known for his role in Outlanders, revealed that he and his family and dear ones are have been facing issues from his stalkers because of his limelight. In the post, he said that he had it get this out after six years, as it had started to affect his mental health.

In the post, the actor said people have falsely accused him of manipulating his fans, being a closet-homosexual, and trying to mislead or exhort fans for money and disregarding COVID advice.
He also mentioned that he and his family had subjected to personal slurs, shaming, abuse, stalking, and sharing of private information. Sam continued by saying that they are professionals and adults who are supposed to know better. He couldn’t reveal them due to the ongoing legal reasons.
He also spoke about his decision to self isolate in Hawaii and was unaware of how things could get worse with the virus. “I’m safe, isolated, putting no one at risk and am not a burden to the locals,” he said.
He also stated that he is not ready to take 3-5 flights back to the UK, exposing himself to more danger. “This will only increase the risk to others and me,” he wrote.
“As an actor in these times, we feel impotent. We can’t do much, but I have tried to use what leverage I have to provide a voice to charities that need it and hopefully a little entertainment or light relief”. For those still unhappy, I suggest you unfollow,” he continued.
