Marvel’s Runaways received a fairly lukewarm response, with most viewers giving it positive reviews. It won a seven on IMDb and fairy positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes as well. The series is produced by Marvel Television, ABC Signature Studios and, Fake Empire Productions, with Schwartz and Savage serving as showrunners.

PLOT

The American web television series created for Hulu by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.

Six teenagers realize that their parents have been involved in criminal activities. Thus, they decide to flee from their homes and live together. They support themselves and put their collective efforts at stopping their parents- also called Pride.

CAST

The show stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta as six teenagers who find out about their parents’ wrongdoings and unite against them. Their parents are called Pride, which is played by actors such as Angel Parker, Ryan Sands, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Brigid Brannagh, Kevin Weisman, Brittany Ishibashi, and James Yaegashi.

Rhenzy Feliz plays Alex Wilder, who has a high intellect and is the leader of the Runaways.

Lyrica Okano, as Nico Minoru: She is a gothic member of the Runaways.

Virginia Gardner, as Karolina Dean: Karolina has the ability of flight, she glows with rainbow beams and can shoot light beams.

Ariela Barer as Gertrude Yorkes: Another member of the runaways who has a telepathic link with her genetically engineered dinosaur, Old Lace.

Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein: A high school lacrosse player who has the potential to achieve a lot in the field of engineering and scientific discoveries.

Allegra Acosta, as Molly Hayes Hernandez: The youngest and most optimistic of the Runaways, Molly shows the ability of superhuman strength and invulnerability.

RELEASING OR CANCELED?

The show released its first season in 2017 with the last season (season 3) being released at the end of 2019. It was announced that season 3 would be the end, and there will be no continuation of the series in the form of season 4.
