“You” is an American psychological cliff hanger Television series based on the novel “You” written by Caroline Kepnes.
This series streamed on Netflix internationally on December 26, 2018, with ten episodes. The series was renewed for a second season based on Kepnes’ follow up novel “Hidden Bodies,” and the second season was released exclusively on Netflix on December 26, 2019. Having got worldwide fanbase and appreciation, Netflix announced the renewal of the series for 3rd season, which will be released sometime in 2021.
This series is about an obsessive lovesick psychopath, Joe Goldberg. He is a dangerous person who can lie, manipulate, murder, and do everything possible to gain the attention of his lover. His obsession level crosses limit with him tracking his lover’s presence using the social site and other technology.
Season 2 bewildered the audience revealing the violent and obsessive nature of Love Quinn, who stabbed Candace in the throat.
Season 3 will make the audience delve deep into Love’s character, and Joe’s darker future will be revealed too. How Joe handles fatherhood will be an interesting element of the upcoming season.
