A Netflix original drama Black Summer is awaited for its second season to release soon. The series is apocalyptic fiction on zombies, created by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams, while produced by Jodi Binstock.
According to the sources, In the United Kingdom, the series became the most popular on Netflix in April 2019. However, afterward, it’s rating goes down to please zombie fans.
When Black Summer Season 2 Air?
The series first premiered on Netflix on April 11, 2019, consisting of eight episodes. On November 20, 2019, Netflix ordered the production to renew the series for the second season. (Deadline Hollywood) Season 2 will return with eight episodes. Unfortunately, creators hadn’t announced the official date for its release. Perhaps, the declaration will be made after the pandemic breakdown.
Moreover, it is expected to release by the year 2021. There are no updates for its filming yet. When the filming is finished, we will get its official date of release.
Who will be Casting?
The cast will be the same as of season 1. In which main cast members include Jaime King as Rose, Justin Chu Cary as Julius James, Christine Lee as Ooh Kyungsun/ Sun, Sal Velez Jr. as William Velez, and Kelsey Flower as Lance. They will be seen in the upcoming season 2 of Black Summer.
What will be the Plot?
The previous season follows Rose, who is in search of her daughter in the zombie apocalypse. She bravely tackles zombies and protects others also and finally meets her daughter, Anna. The upcoming season will be in continuation, and it seems all the zombies didn’t die earlier. They will be back with more thrill, horror, and drama.
