So what is that we might see in season six. Keep reading to know.

About season 6

Earlier, BBC director-general had stated to the press that there would be two more of Lines of Duty. And it will be a hooray for AC-12. But the maker Jed Mercurio says that he is not sure about keeping it going on. Also, he says that the show can go on.

And he stated later that this might go on if the fans have an appetite for the series. And that is an obvious fact that fans do. That is why the series is the second most-watched series on BBC.

So this was a crucial point for the fans. Because season 6 might have as well been the last of Line of Duty.

As of now, season 7 might or might not happen. But season 6 is happening for sure.

About the release

It was all set to happen this year. And we know that with all the information the cast members have been sharing. But considering the current world scenario, everything is put on a halt.

About the cast

Of course, there will be Vicky McClure and Martin Compston. And the crew are excited about casting Kelly Macdonald as DCI Joanne Davidson. This might be a crucial character in season 6, as they suggest.

Also, the rest of the regular cast will be returning, as usual, considering the information we have for now.

The rest of the information is under the sheets for now. And we have to wait for the series to be aired to know anything else. Let us hope the series gets aired soon enough.
