Ronda Rousey or popularly known as, “Rowdy” is an American professional wrestler, an author, an actress, and a formal mixed martial artist and Judoka. Currently signed to WWE, Rousey is on the top-notch of her career as we say it!
Ronda Rousey has bagged various laurels representing the USA on international platforms; for example, she is the first female American to be the recipient of an Olympic medal in 2008 by winning a bronze medal in women’s Judo, a gold in Pan American games and twice in Pan American championships.
It was in 2018 that Rowdy took wrestling as a profession with WWE and won the Raw Women’s Championship as WrestleMania 34! Ronda became the only woman to ace and win championships in both UFC and WWE.
Fox Sports correctly describes her as “one of the defining athletes of the 21st century.”
Her movie career includes acting in The Expendables 3 (2014), Furious 7, and Mile 22 (2018). She released her autobiography, My Fight / Your Fight, in 2015 as well. So if we see, Ronda Rousey has had a pretty good career arc, which makes her net worth to currently be $12 Million! This easily makes her one of the richest MMA fighters in the world.
Her journey to success began when she grew up in a family where her mother was a judo champion, so when Ronda decided to take up Judo from 11 years of age, it was with her hard work and pure talent that she reached where she is today.
With her MMA debut in 2011, she quickly reached the UFC’s, this was followed by winning 12 consecutive fights, and thus becoming the first-ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
Ronda Rousey is now an inspiration for women all around the world to pursue their talent and reach such great heights of success, both personally and for her country!
