LaMelo LaFrance Ball, playing at Point Guard position, is an American basketball player. Ball became the younger basketball player to ever sign the contract when he signed up with Prienai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) on 11th December 2017. This was followed by Los Angeles Ballers of the Junior Basketball Association (JBA) in 2018 and finally on 17th June 2019, LaMelo signed up with the Illawarra Hawks of the Australian-based National Basketball League (NBL)
This happened when LaMelos’s NCAA eligibility got forfeited, and he decided to play professionally before entering the draft, resulting in him becoming a member of the NBL’s Illawarra Hawks.
It is very much obvious how LaMelo Ball possesses immense talent and passion for the game and does not just care about winning, although, after a foot injury, his season ended currently, Ball is one of the most promising players with the NBA currently. Even though he plays at the point guard position, Ball has proved in his past games that he can pull of other roles as well and still prove himself.

According to NBA scouts around the game and According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, Ball is topping the charts for NBL Australian league and would definitely be the No.1 pick in the 2020 NBA drafts! “If he keeps this up, I don’t see any way he isn’t in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick,” an NBA executive expressed his views on LaMelo.
