Since its commencement in 2015, Better Call Saul has been nominated for a plethora of awards and has won a lot of them too. This comedy-drama started as a prequel and spin-off to the critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad. The events of this series precede those of Breaking Bad with a lot of the latter’s characters in it.

The plot of Better Call Saul revolves around Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), who is a con-artist turned lawyer who gets involved in the criminal world by partaking in illegal activities. The viewers witness a change in the character of Jimmy (later called Saul Goodman) as he undertakes criminal activities and drug dealings. A lot of instances had to take place throughout the series for Jimmy McGill to transform into Saul Goodman, this transformation being one of the most loved aspects of the series. The plot of this series shows the development of plenty of characters and the final season is set to tie loose ends, which lead to the events of the Breaking Bad.

Shot primarily in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series has garnered immense fame and approval. Some critics even consider it better than Breaking Bad. The actors’ performances have moved the audience and are thus loved and praised by all.

The fifth season of the show is currently airing and its sixth and final season has been announced by the makers. Season 6 was originally set to release in 2021, however, due to the ongoing pandemic, the shooting has been delayed and its release is now speculated towards the middle or end of 2021. The final season of this well-crafted and engrossing series is set to consist of 13 episodes instead of 10, further piquing viewers’ interest towards what the end holds for all.
