A Japanese fictional series Hepburn, popularly called The Rising of the Shield Hero, is renewed for two more seasons. The story is illustrated by Keigo Koyanagi from the novel series written by Aneko Yusagi. This TV series is directed by Takao Abo and produced by Kinema Citrus.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2: Releasing Date
The Television series first premiered on January 9, 2019, on AT-X, Tokyo MX, TVA, KBS, SUN, TVQ, and BS11. However, it’s been dubbed in English and aired on May 14, 2019, on Funimation.
On September 1, 2019, according to Anime News Network, the production announced the renewal of the series for a second and third season. Yet, there is no official date announced by the creators, although it gives an idea to have the series possibly by the end of 2021.
Who is in the Voice Cast?
The main characters have the voice of the star Billy Kametz as Noafumi Iwatani, Erica Mendez as Raphtalia, and Brianna Knickerbocker as Filo. They will be seen in the next season also. Although, there is no official cast list has been announced apart from the main cast.
What will be the Plot?
The story follows a young man Naofumi Iwatani who discovers a way to a parallel world where he meets three other men to follow up a team of Cardinal Heroes. They fight against Waves (inter-dimensional hordes of monsters). The previous season ends with the unleashed mystery of the Waves. The upcoming series will be in. Continuation of the left leashed mystery of the inner darkness which Naofumi witnessed while fighting the Waves.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2: Trailer or Teaser
Unfortunately, the official trailer is not released yet. The animation will take time, as even there is not an official date of its release. Thus, fans have to wait a little bit more.
