Splatoon is a video game that was published and developed for Wii U by Nintendo and came out for the world to explore in May 2015. The game was unique and favored by the player for its four on four online multiplayer and also the campaign of a single player.
The game revolves around the characters, Inklings that are anthropomorphic squids that transform into cephalopod and humanoids and then can hide or swim in colored ink that is sprayed on surfaces with a roller, umbrella, gun, a bucket of a paintbrush or other weapons.
The game is basically a third-person shooter that can easily Include uptown eight players that can play in a four on four teams or as individual players. A sequel for the game, Splatoon 2, was released in July 2017 for the Nintendo Switch. And now the question remains, after two well-received parts, is the game going to bring in the third part?
The fans have their ears and eyes open for any new official information about the game and when Nintendo made a post with a festive image of Pearl, Marie, and Callie on social media, with the caption: “The stars from Splatoon and Splatoon 2 are staying fresh, even if it’s frosty! But where’s Marina?”, the conjectures reached the peak.
Turns out, this simple teaser caused a lot of confusion and excitement among the fans!
#whereismarina became trending in twitter last Monday and eventually, Nintendo made another post which confirmed our doubts about Splatoon 3. Since the second season brought in a news story along with the old features, it became a given fact that the 3rd part would continue what Splatoon 2 started.
When can we expect Splatoon 3?
With no official announcement about the release date of the game, there is only little we can predict. But if we go by the pattern, we can expect the game to release the 3rd part sometime in early spring 2021.
Let us wait for any further updates from Nintendo itself and we will be the first ones to keep you posted, until then why don’t you check out our other articles.
