The Crown Season 4:Release Date and Plot
The web television series, The Crown basically covers the reign of Queen Elizabeth II throughout her life. The series had first released on November 4, 2016, on Netflix. The series is expected to release six seasons as claimed by it and three seasons of it had already been released. Until now it has released 30 episodes with 10 episodes in each season.
Season 4 of the show is expected to release by the end of this year. Production started in August of 2019 and had completed now amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. They continued shooting even after the Coronavirus and completed filming. Trailer for the same has not been released but maybe it will release two months before the airing of the show.
Season 4 of the series will throw light to the late 70s and 90s and will cover two weddings, the wedding of Prince Andrew to Sarah Ferguson and Prince Charles to Princess Diana. The most awaited tour of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Australian in 1983 will also be shown in Season 4.
The cast of Season 4
In Crown, new actors are features in every two seasons as planned by the production. Season 1 and 2 casts are the same so seasons 3 and 4 will be the same. The season 3 roles cast are portrayed by Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Princess Margaret respectively.
New additional cast will be that of Princess Diana and Prince Charles who will join in Season 4. They are portrayed by the upcoming actress Emma Corring and Josh O’ Connor who will star opposite to her in the season. Emma Corring said in an interview that she is very glad she has been chosen for the role of Princess Diana and willy fully tries to do justify her role.
