Mission: Impossible film series is an American series created from Bruce Geller’s television series of the same name. It is an action spy adventurous film. The main protagonist of the series is Tom Cruise who is also one of the producers of the film trilogy. Well, the wait is over for the fans and viewers as Tom Cruise will be back with not one but two of the most anticipated films of all time.
Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 release dates
The Mission: Impossible was first released on May 22, 1996, by Paramount Pictures. Until today the trilogy consists of six films and remains as one of the 16th highest-grossing films of all the time.
Mission: Impossible is returning after three long years with two films, 7 and 8 releasing back to back. On January 14, 2019, it was stated by Tom Cruise that the trilogy has been adapted for Part 7 and 8 which is scheduled to release on July 23, 2021, and August 5, 2022, respectively. The films will be shot back to back and are directed and written by Christopher McQuarrie.
Production and filming were set to begin from February 20, 2020, in Italy but everything is suspended at present due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus due to which release of the films may also get postponed.
The cast of Mission: Impossible 7
The main cast of the previous films will reprise their roles which include Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Vanessa Kirby as Allana Mitsoplis and Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge. Other additional casts whose roles are not disclosed and will join are Nicholas Hault, Shea Whigham, Hayey Atwell, and Pom Klementieff.
The Storyline of Mission: Impossible 7
All the MI7 will be back in part 7 to solve some impossible mission and Ethan’s former wife will also be seen in the movie. It is not known yet who will be the villain in the movie. With two movies releasing back to back it is expected that they will be linked in some way which will maybe mark the final mission for Ethan and his team.
