‘Homecoming Season 2’: Release Date, New Cast, Plot Twists? Season 1 Recap inside


Homecoming is based on a podcast created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg.  It is an American Psychological Thriller web series.  It premiered back in November’18 on prime video.  Sam Esmail directs the series. It was ranked a 7 out of 10 on IMBD and scored 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. It features the story of the Homecoming Transitional Support Center. The support center works with Veterans coming home from war.

Heidi Bergman is a social worker, working at Homecoming Transitional Support Center. It is a live-in facility. The support center aims to help war veterans adjust to civilian life. The reason for helping war veterans has no been underlined. However, the season 1 prompted that support center’s aims are malicious and kept hidden.  Bergman four years later, working in a restaurant encounters a U.S. Defence Department auditor; the auditor questions her that why she left the support center. This is when she realizes she has been misled, and the support center’s motives are dark.

Release Date:

The filming for Homecoming Season 2 has started but the official release dates are not out yet. Rumors are it could release in late 2020. We’ll update you as soon as official dates are out!!


All the details about the plot are kept hush-hush. The storyline of the series has already deviated from the podcast so, plot twists and curveballs are expected.  Though, we all will miss Bergman. The sequel definitely will shed light on the Geist group’s other shady business ventures. Thomas Carassco will be seen leading to further investigation.


The cast of Homecoming Season 2 will include Stephan James as Walter, Bobby Cannavale as Heidi’s boss Colin Belfast, Shea Whigham as Thomas Carrasco from the Department of Defence, Alex Karpovsky as Homecoming employee Craig, Sissy Spacek as Heidi’s mother Ellen Bergman, Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Walter’s mother Gloria Cruz, and Dermot Mulroney as Heidi’s on-off boyfriend Anthony.
