You is a psychological thriller American TV show that streams on Netflix and has already completed two seasons since 2018. The show is created by, Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble and is based on the book by Caroline Kepnes of the same name.
The show revolves around an obsessive love story where the lover, a bookstore manager and who goes by the name Joe Goldberg and Will Bettelheim respectively in the first and the second season falls obsessively in love with a girl and then the evolution of his love into toxic life-threatening forms is what the show follows.
With an interesting and thrilling season 2, You has taken over the hearts of the fans and has been renewed for a season 2 on January 14, 2020.
So, we can all expect a third installment of the psychological thriller! You season 3 has been officially confirmed by Netflix and creators alike.

Season 3 of the show can be assumed to go on air sometime around 2021 after it has finished casting and shooting formalities.

What can you expect from season 3?
Since season 1 and season 2 were based on the novels You and Hidden bodies by Caroline Kepnes respectively and the second season ended on a mysterious note when we discover that Joe’s new girlfriend, Love has a bad and dark side as well and he meets his match, now what will this revelation bring about in the storyline is the biggest question!
Since Caroline’s third book in the You series is yet to be released, we can not be completely sure if the third season will follow adaptations from the author or will go completely autopilot with a new storyline.
The cast for season 3:
The show will be getting an altogether new cast for the third season apart from our main obsessive murderous lovers, Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg and Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn.
