The Witcher is based on a book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. It is an American fantasy drama series. It is created and produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. It was premiered on 20th December 2019. It is ranked as 8.3 out of 10 on IMBD.

According to recent reports, filming for the sequel began in early 2020. The sequel will be an adaptation of Blood Of Elves and Time Of Contempt. Rumors indicate sequel releasing in winter’2020 or early 2021.

Plot:
The Witcher follows the story of a legendary Witcher known as “Geralt Of Rivia”. It features three key figures namely; Geralt Of Rivia ( monster hunter), Yennefer of Vengenberg ( sorceress) and Cirilla ( princess). Geralt is depicted as a brooding, dominating and a mysterious character. His genetic mutations are an added benefit as they enhance his abilities and provide with magical abilities.
Freya Allan is starring as Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon. She is the Princess of Cintra. The plot features her great destiny linked with the mysterious witcher. Anya Chalotra stars as a young deformed girl, Yennefer of Vandenberg. She is bought by a powerful sorceress. The plot features humans being crueler than monsters.
