This is the end of an era for Netflix, as the House of Cards was the first-ever original series produced by the streaming service. House of Cards season 1 was debuted in February 2013. The hype surrounding the show played a key role in attracting subscribers.
Netflix has revived some of the past tv series but it is hard to say the same for House of Cards. Netflix itself has revived canceled TV shows like Arrested Development and Gilmore Girls. It is not likely that Netflix will allow Amazon or Hulu to stream the sequel. Fans would be disheartened to learn that House of Cards season 6 might actually be the last farewell season after all.
No more House of Cards now
The sixth season of the show concluded in November of 2018. The show got called off due to some unavoidable issues. In the show, Claire has some new enemies to deal with, and Frank passed away in his bed mysteriously.
Season 6 was able to tie up all the apparent loose strings together. Due to this, we are able to give a decent farewell to one of Netflix Originals.
If we talk about characters, we all can agree that our girl, Robin Wright, carried the show on her shoulders. She is phenomenal and the main actress of the series.
