The Last Kingdom is a historical drama show based on the Saxon Stories novel, which was written by Bernard Cornwell. It is a British authentic fictional TV drama.

The show has already released three seasons. The first two seasons had eight episodes and the third season had ten episodes. The show was aired in October 2015. Most probably, season 4 will be released in mid-months of 2020. This web series is based on the 9th-century novel the Saxon series. There is no teaser for the fans of season 4.

- Jamie Blackley as Eardwulf who is Aethelred’s, new right-hand man.
- Ruby Hartley as Sitorra who is Uhted’s daughter.
Season 3 was ended during the events of Death of Kings. There are some points from the death of kings that could be used for the beginning of season 4.If they move on from the death of kings and choose to go to the events of The Pagan World then a significant time jump is set to take place.
Season 4 will cover the events from 3 books of the Saxon Stories. The biggest reason being their age in the novels as Uhtred is in his mid-50s’ in the events of The Pagan World and Empty Throne. Production :
