’13 Reasons Why Season 4′: Which mystery is next? Release date, cast and a lot more!

More hidden truths coming up?

Netflix’s popular and controversial show, 13 Reasons Why touched the topics that hardly any other TV series tried to. After it’s first season gained immense popularity, the show was renewed for the second and eventually the third and now the creators have decided to release the 4th season to conclude the series.

With the final episode of season 3 revealing information about Bryce Walker’s death, fans are looking forward to what happens next.

Release Date:

Netflix and Paramount Pictures announced on the 1st of August 2019 that 13 Reasons why will definitely have a 4th season. The exact date, although not confirmed, is expected to be sometime in late 2020.

This upcoming season will probably have 13 odd episodes just like it’s two predecessors.

Cast: Who’s likely to return?

The regular cast that remained intact after season 3 ended is surely going to be a part of the next season, namely: Dylan Minnette (Clay Jensen), Christian Navarro (Tony Padilla), Alisha Boe (Jessica Davis), Brandon Flynn (Justin Foley), Miles Heizer (Alex Standall), Ross Butler (Zach Dempsey), Devin Druid (Tyler Down) and Anne Winters (Chloe Rice).

Timothy Granaderos is not going to return to his character of Montgomery as he died in prison. A possible addition could be Gary Sinise, playing Dr.Robert Ellman, a therapist for Clay.

The thought of Katherine Langford (Hannah Baker) appearing in flashbacks is not really that out of the window, the same goes for Justin Prentice (Bryce Walker) and Derek Luke (The fired school counselor).

What could happen next?

With the series coming to an end, this season could be the concluding arc for various characters. Monty’s death and him going to jail wrongly will surely come and haunt Clay and his group of school friends back. With all of its controversial graphic suicide scenes and trigger warning content, the show also revolved around mental health and the infamous ‘high-school bullying’.
