‘Sex Education season 3’ all set for release in the upcoming year of 2021, with a strong storyline and engrossing concepts, also more of Gillian Anderson to be experienced.

Sex education one of the most popular web series on Netflix is a British comedy-drama television web series created by Laurie Nunn. The show stares Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn who plays the protagonist and Gillian Anderson as Dr. Jean F. Milburn who plays a well-known sex therapist and Otis’s mother. The series first premiered on 11 January 2019. It became a critical and commercial success for Netflix, with over 40 million viewers having streamed the first series after its debut. The series got renewed for a second season on January 17, 2020.

The series portrays a socially awkward high school student Otis who does not seem to have much experience in lovemaking but gets good guidance from his mom Jean who is a sex therapist and surrounds him with a good set of manuals, videos and tediously open conversations about sex.

Later on, when his classmates learn about him, he uses his insider knowledge and with the help of whip-smart bad girl Meave sets up an underground sex therapy clinic for his classmates and to deal and solve their problems. But during this analysis of teenage sexuality, Otis realizes that he might require some help on his own.

In a recent tweet, Netflix announced by sharing a poster that Sex Education is renewed for season 3.

The writer and creator Laurie Nunn hopes and expresses in her own words that sex education will continue beyond the third season and that she as a writer completely enjoys writing the content for the show as it is a large ensemble of characters and it talks openly about sex and relationships. As there is no reference to the official date we can safely assume that, following the pattern of the show, the third season will get forecasted by January 2021. Season two talked about nascent adolescent sexuality, mental health, sexual harassment and addiction among others.

The third season as far as guesses will talk about Jean’s late-in-life pregnancy, the relationship she had with various men in her life. Romantic pairings may also be seen as we move into a new season, season 3 will also provide clarity on season 2 finale cliffhanger and what happened exactly between Otis and Meave.

Although season 3 is far from now the storyline and characters expected will make the wait worth it.
