Bodyguard Season 2 all set to return this autumn – Release dates,when will Richard Madden return, Fans expectations and updates.


It’s been 2 whole years since the series of famous Netflix series Bodyguarded debuted. The fans have been asking since then for the second season of the show.

It’s been the most-watched BBC web series of 2018 which left fans eagerly waiting for the second season. Jed Mercurio recently revealed that there will be broadcasting another four seasons before the show reaches its end. These revelations made the fans expectations high.

The first season was aired in the month of August(29th of August) in the year 2018, so the fans are expecting the second season to release around the month of August in the following year that is 2020.

Despite the long silence maintained by the officials, production team, director and the remaining actors, Richard Madden doesn’t seem to stay quiet. In one of his recent interviews, he revealed that he has been working with his favourite director Richard Madden for the last 2- 3 months. According to the confirmed reports as of now. 

In addition to that Anne Sampson played by Gina Mckee and Sophie Rundle as Vicky Budd and Ash Tandon played by Deepak Sharma are most likely to return in the bodyguard season 2.

The plot yet undecided has got more questions to answer than moving forward. 

Questions like if Julia Montage is dead while she was running for the post of Prime Minister? If she is dead then the questions like who will take her place are lurking and if she is alive then has she got the position she was aspiring for.

As the season 1 showed us David Budd ( Richard Madden) who was a war veteran turned protection officer or bodyguard assigned to Julia Montague ( Keeley Hawees) the powerful and ambitious Home Secretary. Then David was seen dealing with his mental health and solving his relationship with Vicky and his two children.

The second season will be soon launching the trailer and the show would be out by the autumn.
