The Seven Deadly Sins is based on the manga novels of the same name. The story begins when after 10 years a group of Holy knights is framed for staging a coup against the crown. In the kingdom of Liones, the Holy Knights are protecting the citizens of the land. To restore the peace that she can bring back to the Kingdom of Liones. In season 3, The Seven Deadly Sins had defeated Hendrickson.
The season ended with Meliodas coming back and mercilessly killing Fraudrin the selfless commander of the Ten commandments. After his fight with Fraudrin, Meliodas is disturbed by the reaction Ban gave him after his victory. Meliodas, later on, saw expressing his concern to Elizabeth that he enjoyed killing Fraudrin and that he will again have to revert to the demon he was and tells him that she will never leave his side.
According to the production company and the expecting audience, there will be a 4th season which will broadcast in need to cover the left out story of The Seven Deadly Sins. It’s yet unclear if the 4th season will be the last season of the series, as there are just 110 chapters remaining.
A 4th season has officially been confirmed, thanks to the announcement made in chapter 310 of the manga!. The fourth season is halfway through broadcasting in Japan, taking a short break over the holidays with the remaining season to broadcast from 8th January 2020.
Considering the popularity and demand from fans or subscribers, we don’t believe season 4 will be held back until November 2020. Potential dates for the season are expected to be around July/ August.
The plot can’t be quite confirmed as per reports but there will be revelations of Meliodas’s relationship with Elizabeth. With the seven deadly sins separated across the Kingdom, they must unite once again to take on the clan.
As confirmed now the 4th season will be called The Seven Deadly sins: Wrath of the Gods.
The Seven Deadly Sins may not include simulcasting the series.
