The Orville season 3, plot, cast release date: The parody space drama is ready for another exploration

The Orville is an American science fiction comedy-drama television series created by and starring Seth Macfarlane as series protagonist Ed Mercer, an officer in the Planetary Union’s line of exploratory space vessels in the 25th century.

The idea is taken from various space stories and special homage is payed to star trek and it’s successor, it has been produced by 20th-Century FOX¬† and fuzzy door production

PLOT

The title is based on the mid-level exploratory vehicle the USS Orville in the planetary union a 25th-century interstellar alliance of Erth and many other planets the vessel is controlled by captain Ed Mercer and first officer kelly Grayson they go on space exploration and on the way facing various stiff challenges both internal and external and paying homages to other space-based show’s like star trek.

CAST

In the latest news report, it has been confirmed that Ariel winter is going to join the cast playing the role Charly Bruke and will be joined by the rest of the crew leading from the front the captain Seth MacFarlane, Adriane Palicki, Penny Jhonson Gerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Halston Sage and many more and hope to see many more celebrity cameo-like by Charlize Theron or Leam Nesson or Rob Lowe like previous series.

RELEASE DATE

Though confirmed for the third season but for the first episode the fans had to wait till the end of 2020 and sadly will have less episode also i.e. 11 episodes only and it will be available in the HULU channel and because of this shift from FOX to HULU there has been delayed in the production of the series but at the end, it will only mint money for Disney who owns both the companies.

Though not the best, but it is sure to provide moments to cherish and give a good laugh to the viewer.
