BoJack Horseman season 6, plot, cast, release date, future: Our favorite and  controversial horse is enjoying it’s last hurray

BoJack Horseman is an American adult animated television series created by  Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Since its first season, BoJack has addressed many hot-button sociopolitical issues and has been widely regarded as the best-animated series of all time. Especially applauded for taking up serious issues like depression, self-destructiveness, axesuality, sexism, racism, etc.


The show is based in an anthropomorphic world where both animals and humans live side by side, where a horse who reached his careers ending, once famous in 1990 for his starring role in Horsin around,  is trying to rejuvenate it by publishing his autobiography with the help of a ghostwriter, he has to contend with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Princess Carolyn and his enemy Mr. Peanutbutter who is an yellow Labrador retriever.


Will Arnett (Bojack horseman), Amy Sedaris(Princess Carolyn), Alison Brie(Diane Nguyen), Paul F. Tomkins(Mr. peanut butter), Aaron Paul(Todd Chavez) all have returned for the sixth season.

Release Date

The sixth and the final season has to release in two parts of eight(8) episode each the first part released on 25th October 2019 and the least part and series finale has released on 20th January 2020 and before the start of the series, Netflix informed the showrunner Bob-Waksberg that this will the final season so there won’t be any cliffhanger for the audience to ponder over in the future.


The show has been very well acclaimed by the critics especially for its straight forward way of dealing with touchy issues and addressing it gracefully in a comedic fashion, the show has been decorated with many top prizes and applauded for its bold storytelling. Also, it has been highly rated by the Metacritic and rotten tomato which makes it a must-watch for any online content binger and also for a good comedy show lover but be careful it has some great number of adult content.
